An Ode On Langkawi

Langkawi, this beautiful island seduces
But she, with her bounty of beauties, entices
I lost control over my faculties.

She blushes in green as I undress her spot by spot
Thus revealing her beauties lot by lot
I was overwhelmed by her assets.

At Open Seas her reverie green waters
Consummated with Andaman’s fiery blue batters
And I stand a witness for their communion.

Her Sea-urchins touched me gently
While her Jelly –fish clung to me soapily
I was moved by their passion.

I gaped at her greeny bosom from my Pushpak-Viman*
As I unveiled her tip-to-toe in vegetation as a yeoman
I passed through the test of TIME.

But her deep rocky navel scared me
Her lush-green meadows and maids seduced me
While her blush-green valleys pulled me towards her!

The large brown Eagles added to the colour of the Island
While her black bats reposed in quietude in Grand
I was more than a spectator!

Her lasciviously walking Penguins captured me
While her silent moving Seals captivated me
Though all of them whispered silence.

She smiled through her huge Jhua beach expanse
And enticed me with her large silent waves manse
I stood there as silent admirer.

Her strong black clouds clad her always
Besetting to cover her beauties in sarees
I discern to unfold these robes.

I gazed to see through the Bats’ Cave
And found an amazing wealth of beauty she gave!
I accepted her in all her MIGHT!!


She leaves her honey-dewed signature on every fold
As I unfurled her green frock of millionfold foliage to behold
I was amazed at the bounty!!

And her fair infant-smile left an indelible impression
On my cognizance wherever I went in intuition
Trust me, I was all alone by myself!

Oh! My dear Langkawi, my dear beauty maiden!
Am I bound to testify my fidelity to my hoyden?
I cover in a transparent blanket of her mild rain!

Am I to surrender to your majesty?
Or to pronounce slavery to your divine beauty?
I wish to lose myself in you!!

Hereby I prostrate to your celestial magnificence
I oblige to visit you to adore your radiance
You taught me sensuousness!!!!
