DIABETIC-IS THERE AN ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION? READ BELOW

DIABETIC? FINALLY GOOD NEWS FOR ALL DIABETICS

A woman (65) was diabetic for the last 20+ years and was taking insulin twice a day,she used the enclosed homemade medicine for a fortnight and now she is absolutely free of diabetes and taking all her food as normal including sweets ............................The doctors have advised her to stop insulin and any other blood sugarcontrolling drug.

AS RECEIVED :DR. TONY ALMEIDA ( Bombay Kidney Speciality expert ) made the extensive experiments with perseverance and patience and discovered a successful treatment for diabetes. Now a days a lot of people, old men & women in particular suffer a lot due to Diabetes.

Ingredients:1 - Wheat flour 100 gm2 - Gum(of tree) (gondh) 100 gm3 - Barley 100 gm4 - Black Seeds (kalunji) 100 gm

Method of Preparation

Put all the above ingredients in 5 cups of water.Boil it for 10 minutes and put off the fire. Allow it to cool down by itself. When it has become cold, filter out the seeds and preserve the waterin a glass jug or bottle. How to use it? Take one small cup of this water every day early morning when your stomach is empty.Continue this for 7 days. Next week repeat the same but on alternatedays. With these 2 weeks of treatment youwill wonder to see that you have become normal and can eat normal foodwithout problem.Note: A request is to spread this to as many as possible so thatothers can also take benefit out of it.

SINCE THESE ARE ALL NATURAL INGREDIENTS, TAKING THEM IS NOT HARMFUL.SO THOSE WHO ARE SCEPTICAL ABOUT THIS TREATMENT MAY STILL TRY IT WITHOUT ANY HARM. WORST CASE SCENARIO WILL BE THAT YOU REMAIN STILL SAME AS YOU WERE BEFORE

MIGRATION OF TELUGUS TO MALAYSIA

Malaysian Telugus have migrated to this country as Traders during the Sri Vijaya Period from the Kalinga Pradesham in Andhra. Second, they came during 19th and 20 th century as clerks and indentured labourers. There are also more than 5000 Telugu professionals who have come to Malaysia in the 90's and 2000's.

In my article on 'The Five Generation of Telugus in Malaysia' there are some gaps I need to fill. I will appreciate if you could inform me thru the comment column the following:-

i. THE NAME OF THE VILLAGE YOUR ANCESTORS HAVE COME FROM
ii. THE NAME OF THE TINDAL (KANGANI) WHO BROUGHT YOUR PARENTS HERE
iii. THE NAME OF THE ESTATE YOU SETTLED FIRST
iv. YOUR FAMILY SURNAME

Thank you

JOKE OF THE DAY

This particular joke won an award for the best joke in a competition held in Britain .

Banta Singh walks into a bar in London , orders 3 glasses of beer and sits in the backyard of the room, drinking a sip out of each one in turn.
When he finishes, he comes back to the bar counter and orders 3 more.
The bartender asks him, "You know, beer goes flat after I fill it in the glass; it would taste better if you buy one at a time."
Banta Singh replies, "Well, you see, I have two brothers. One is in Dubai , the other in Canada and I'm here in London . When they left home, we promised that we'll drink this way to remember the days when we drank together."
The bartender admits this is a nice custom and leaves it there.
Banta Singh became a regular in the bar and would always drink the same way. He'd order 3 Beers and drink them in turn.
One day, he came in and ordered only 2 Beers. All the other regulars notice and fall silent.
When he comes back to the bar for the second round, the bar tender says, "I don't want to intrude on your grief, but I wanted to offer my sincere condolences on your great loss."
Banta Singh looked confused for a moment, then he laughs .... "Oh, no," he said, "Everyone's fine; both my brothers are alive. The only thing is I just quit drinking"!!!

MESSAGE OF THE DAY

No effect can take place without a cause. You do certainly know the cause of your present condition. Given the scenario, when you experience a mental pain, do namasmarana (repeat the Name of God) for a while sitting in a lonely place. Or sing bhajans (Devotional Songs) loudly in a raised voice. Or if that is not possible, spread the bed and sleep for some time. Thereafter your worries will disappear and you'll find solutions.

Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.

Saint Augustine

He who is filled with love is filled with God himself.

Mother Teresa

If you judge people, you have no time to love them.

Dag Hammerskjold

Pray that your loneliness may spur you into finding something to live for, great enough to die for.
M. Scott Peck

The great awareness comes slowly, piece by piece. The path of spiritual growth is a path of lifelong learning. The experience of spiritual power is basically a joyful one.

Thomas Carlyle

To us also, through every star, through every blade of grass, is not God made visible if we will open our minds and our eyes.

Rabindranath Tagore

Trees are the earth's endless effort to speak to the listening heaven

WHAT IS THE RESPONSE FOR THIS BLOG?

It is exactly 30 days since I started this blog. During my first week I got on an average of 8 visitors per day. The average number of visitors has now increased to 23. Am I satisfied with the number of visitors. Yes, because the blog is new and requires more exposure and introductions and it has to compete with millions of bloggers. No, Because I upload content almost daily and most of the content is useful and I sometimes feel more people should benefit from the blog. So what is my strategy now? Well I invite anyone I feel has some connection with the content. Age is no barrier here. My visitors are from all parts of the world, though most of them are from Malaysia, India and USA. On my 31st day i.e yesteday I had 54 visitors-the highest so far.

I also wish to thank all my vistors to my page and I hope you have a good time. For pure entertainment value I have also added video clips.

If you like the web please inform your friends to pay a visit to the blog. I will apprecite that. I hope to receive atleat 100 visitors daily. When will I achieve that. Well that will depend on your help. Hopefully by the end of this year.

TELUGU CENSUS IN MALAYSIA

The greatest challenge facing the Telugu Community in Malaysia is its mere existence and its recognition by both the Government and Private sectors. Both these challenges can be combatted if the Community can prove its exact population to the Government Authorities and other private sector organisations such as astro, tv3 etc etc which have some relevance to the Community.

In view of this challenges a Database web page was created by the Telugu Association of Malaysia. All Telugus must take it as their responsibility to visit this page and register all of their family members in this page.

The TAM Youths must also take it as a challenge and responsibility to go to the ground and register online. With Wifi around and most of us having laptops, we should dedicate a month to go house to house to register all the Telugus. I am very positive with the vibrant youths we have , this simple task can be fulfilled in a matter of months. Youth Leaders must take this as a challenge and complete this task for the benefit of our future generations.

We should also think of taking our Wifi computers to all our TAM functions, gatherings, weddings etc to register all Telugus irrespective whether they are TAM members or not.

TAM must consider the census as their agenda item to see the progress.

PPNaidu and TAM Selangor Branch has done an excellent job in creating such an excellent online Database. So let us do our duty to complete the job.

Let us now look at the page and see what we can do as leaders, Youths and as Ordinary members to this Basic Objective of ours.

Now to look at the web page please click below

TODAY'S INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE

Today's Inspirational Quote:"No one is born hating another person because of the color ofhis skin, or his background, or his religion. People mustlearn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can betaught to love, for love comes more naturally to the humanheart than its opposite."-- Nelson Mandela

DATO DR KRISHNAMOORTHY'S IMPRESSIONS ON INDIA

MESSAGE OF THE DAY

Love even those whom you consider wicked. In fact, there is nobody who is wicked in this world. It is because of delusion that you consider some as good and a few others wicked. Develop noble feelings and follow the path of truth. Do not indulge in vain gossip. Do not entertain bad feelings or use bad words. Do not hurt others. Instead, sanctify your time by chanting the Divine Name. There is nothing sweeter in this world than the Divine Name. The Divine Names that you chant purifies the hearts of many. Use only sacred words and sing the glory of God. In doing so, you would have rendered a great help to the whole world. Make proper use of your time. Help everybody. When you help others, you will certainly achieve positive results.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON SWINE (H1N1) FLU

FAQs on Influenza A (H1N1)

What is influenza A (H1N1-2009)?

2009 Influenza A (H1N1), also written as ‘Influenza A (H1N1-2009)’ (previously referred to as "new strain of swine flu") is a new strain of influenza virus that spreads from human to human. As this is a new strain of virus, most people will not have resistance, and it can potentially spread quickly and infect a large proportion of the population in a short period of time.

What is the incubation period of Influenza A (H1N1-2009)?

The incubation period for the virus is estimated to range from 1 to 7 days.

Why are MOH and other public health authorities such as the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) concerned about influenza A (H1N1-2009)?
As this is a new strain of virus, most people will not have resistance, and it can potentially spread quickly and infect a large proportion of the population in a short period of time. Unlike seasonal influenza, there is no vaccine available yet. It will take several months for scientists to produce a vaccine for this new strain of H1N1 virus. There is also concern about how many people will turn out to develop serious illness due to this new strain. If many people develop serious illness, healthcare systems will be overloaded.

How does influenza A (H1N1-2009) spread from humans to humans?

Influenza A (H1N1-2009) spreads from human to human in the same way as seasonal flu. Flu can be spread when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or speaks. The flu viruses are transmitted into the air through droplets and other people breathe in the viruses. When these viruses enter the nose, throat, or lungs of a person, they begin to multiply, causing symptoms of the flu. The viruses can also be spread indirectly when a person touches a surface with flu viruses on it (for example, a door knob) and then touches his or her nose or mouth. Transmission can also occur when an infected person shares food with others during mealtime without a serving spoon.

If a patient had recovered from the Influenza A (H1N1-2009) virus, can he/she be infected again with the Influenza A (H1N1-2009)?

The Influenza A (H1N1-2009) is a new virus strain, and the implications of this phenomenon are unknown. In general, infection with influenza viruses can generate antibodies which are protective against future infection by the same virus strain. However, if the specific virus undergo significant mutation, it is possible to be infected by the mutant strain.

Is the case-fatality rate Influenza A (H1N1-2009) much higher than other flu strains?

Case fatality rate (CFR) is the proportion of people with a disease who will die. The case fatality rate for the Influenza A (H1N1-2009) infection remains unclear. Initial reports from Mexico cited a high case-fatality rate (ie in excess of 5%, which is higher than even the Spanish flu of 1918). However, the case fatality rate is lower, at 0.16% for cases of deaths outside Mexico. The virus strain in Mexico appears identical with that found in the US and hence, the actual case fatality rate in Mexico might have been lower.

The latest study from WHO estimates that up to 32,000 may have been infected in Mexico, and case fatality rate is estimated at 0.4% (with a range of 0.3% to 1.5%). North America suggested a case fatality rate of 0.37%. The virus, like other flu viruses, is also constantly changing. New mutations may be harmless versions of itself but there is also the possibility that the virus may become more infectious and lethal. It will take time for the full picture to emerge.

What is the impact of Influenza A (H1N1-2009) being a mix of several strains of the flu virus?

Other H1N1 strains (not the 2009 strain) already infect humans every year, and their genes have originated from swine, human and avian sources. This is a characteristic of all human influenza viruses, so just having a hybrid virus with different origins is not a new finding.

However, when the hybrid virus appear to change significantly from current strains, the impact on transmissibility and virulence cannot always be predicted, and we need to link the genetic changes to what we observe in the community and in the affected individuals. For Influenza A (H1N1-2009), more epidemiological studies will be needed to better define how easily it spreads or whether it causes more severe disease. Scientists are interested in the hybrid nature of H1N1 because it helps them to track its spread and origin more easily.

How can human infections with Influenza A (H1N1-2009) be diagnosed?

To diagnose Influenza A (H1N1-2009), a respiratory specimen would generally need to be collected within the first 4 to 5 days of illness (when an infected person is most likely to be shedding the virus). However, some persons, especially those who are immuno-compromised may shed the virus for 10 days or longer.

What kind of waves can we expect for Influenza A (H1N1-2009) if it becomes a pandemic?

Historically, influenza pandemics have encircled the globe in two, sometimes three, waves. During the previous century, the 1918 pandemic (or "Spanish Flu"), the most deadly of them all, began in a mild wave and then returned in a far more deadly one. The pandemic of 1957 (or "Asian Flu") began with a mild phase followed, in several countries, by a second wave with higher fatality. The pandemic of 1968 (or "Hong Kong Flu") remained, in most countries, comparatively mild in both its first and second waves.

Influenza A(H1N1-2009) is a new strain of the flu virus and we lack an in-depth understanding of it. It is still too early to predict how exactly it will act and if or when another wave might hit. Hence, it is important to be always prepared, by keeping up a high standard of personal hygiene at all times.

Symptom, Treatment & Vaccination

What are the symptoms of Influenza A (H1N1-2009) in humans?

The symptoms of influenza A (H1N1-2009) in people are similar to the symptoms of seasonal influenza. An early symptom is high fever, and this is followed by cough, sore throat, runny nose, and sometimes breathlessness a few days later.

What medications are available to treat Influenza A (H1N1-2009) infection in humans?

Oseltamivir (Tamiflu®) or Zanamivir (Relenza®) are antiviral drugs that can be used to treat Influenza A (H1N1-2009) infection. As with any other medication, there are potential side effects related to the use of Tamiflu. We would advise that individuals see a doctor early if they are feeling unwell rather than to self-medicate.

Should people purchase and carry Tamiflu, so they can take it the moment they feel the flu is coming on?

Tamiflu is not available over the counter as it is a prescribed drug. It can only be sold as a prescribed drug by a hospital or medical centre and not available to be purchased from the retail shelves.

As with any other medication, there are potential side effects related to the use of Tamiflu. We would advise that individuals see a doctor early if they are feeling unwell rather than to self-medicate.

QUOTES ON CHILDREN

In the final analysis it is not what you do for your children but what you have taught them to do for themselves that will make them successful human beings.

Ann Landers

Nothing you do for children is ever wasted. They seem not to notice us, hovering, averting our eyes, and they seldom offer thanks, but what we do for them is never wasted.

Garrison Keilor

Our greatest natural resource is the minds of our children.

Walt Disney
Too many parents make life hard for their children by trying, too zealously, to make it easy for them.

MONEY-WHERE SHOULD WE INVEST IN MALAYSIA

Well many people who have reserve money would want to know where they should invest. My suggestion is - do not put all the eggs in one basket. If you have very good business acumen then invest in Business. But ensure that you have done your feasibility study before you embark in any business. A proper business plan is also very essential. Try to identify a business where you do not have to compete so that you have an edge. Think of Blue Ocean strategies. Make competition irrelevant.

Another area you can think of is real estate investment. Invest in areas where there is proper infrastructure and where there is heavy demand for properties based on the development in the area. Buy properties where your rentals can cover your instalments to the bank.

For those who do not want to do too much of thinking you can consider trust funds which are frequently launched by the Government. In the case of Malaysia ASM, AS Wawasan, Amnah Saham One Malaysia will certainly give you better returns than FD's in a bank. Public Mutual is well administered. You can invst in trust funds when the market is low and you can reap good profits when the economic situation improves.

Investors can also consider co-operatives such as MCIS Co-op, Vishaka Co-op and NLFCS co-op. All these co-operatives have been giving dividends of around 8 % for the last couple of years. Well is there any risk in investing in co-ops? Of course there is an element of risk and it is very necessary for you to see the respective co-ops accounts before you invest.

STORY BY A GIRL-EMBRACING IMPERFECTIONS

Embracing Imperfection - a story by a girl

When I was a little girl, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage, and extremely burned toast in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his toast, smile at my mom, and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that toast and eat every bite! When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the toast. And I'll never forget what he said. 'Baby, I love burned toast.'
Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night, and I asked him if he really liked his toast burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, 'Debbie, your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides-a little burnt toast never hurt anyone! You know, life is full of imperfect things...and imperfect people. I'm not the best housekeeper or cook.'
What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other's faults - and choosing to celebrate each other's differences - is the one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship. Burnt toast should never be a deal breaker. We could extend this to any relationship in fact - as understanding is the base of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or friendship!! "
Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket - but into your own.

People will always forget what you do, and they will always forget what you say, but they will never, ever forget the way you make them feel

SWINE FLU (H1N1) AND RESVERATOL

Since the Avian Bird Flu of 2005, scientists and researchers have been looking for a cure to these rapidly spreading viruses. Today's Swine Flu is no anomaly, it bears resemblance to the Avian Flu and reacts the same way to medications.Researchers have discovered that certain antioxidants and a blend of antioxidants significantly reduces the duplication of both the H1N1 Swine Flu and the H5N1 Avian Bird Flu. Scientists infected mice with the H5N1 bird flu and then administered high doses of resveratrol to them all. They administered doses just as they were getting infected, 3 hours, 6 hours and 9 hours after. 90% of the mice that were administered resveratrol even 3 hours after getting infected suffered little to no sickness. The key to remember here is that resveratrol is produced by plants to fight infection and disease. That's the whole purpose of it. Sure it's been getting a lot of media attention for its life-extending properties, but the truth is - it's an antibiotic.Resveratrol is found naturally in red wine, red wine vinegar, grape juice, grapes (not raisins), peanuts, Japanese knotweed, and dark chocolate. Start stocking up on resveratrol this H1N1 Swine Flu Season. Drink grape juice for breakfast, add peanuts to your salad, drink some red wine before you go to bed. And don't forget to put a piece of dark chocolate on your wife's pillow.Resveratrol can be found in supplements too. Don't just buy any supplement though. Make sure each serving is individually packaged. Try to avoid pills because resveratrol is best absorbed in the mouth -buccal absorption - so find a liquid that is isotonic and effervescent. There are lots of options on the market.
Did you know that resveratrol might not be the only reason red wine is considered to be healthy? In fact, red wine has other compounds that are more powerful and in higher concentration than resveratrol.

JOKE OF THE DAY-MEMORY LOSS

An 80 year old couple were having problems remembering things, so they decided to go to their doctor to get checked out to make sure nothing was wrong with them.
When they arrived at the doctors, they explained to the doctor about the problems they were having with their memory. After checking the couple out, the doctor told them that they were physically okay but might want to start writing things down and make notes to help them remember things. The couple thanked the doctor and left.
Later that night while watching TV, the man got up from his chair and his wife asked, "Where are you going?" He replied, "To the kitchen."She asked, "Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?" He replied, "Sure." She then asked him, "Don't you think you should write it down so you can remember it?" He said, "No, I can remember that."She then said, "Well I would also like some strawberries on top. You had better write that down because I know you'll forget that."He said, "I can remember that, you want a bowl of ice cream with strawberries." She replied, "Well I also would like whipped cream on top. I know you will forget that so you better write it down." With irritation in his voice, he said, "I don't need to write that down! I can remember that." He then fumes into the kitchen.
After about 20 minutes he returned from the kitchen and handed her a plate of bacon and eggs. She stared at the plate for a moment and said angrily:"I TOLD you to write it down! You forgot my toast!"

STROKE-HOW TO HELP A STROKE VICTIM

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:

During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) .she said she had just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes.

They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food. While she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening

Ingrid 's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00 pm Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don't die. they end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.

It only takes a minute to read this...

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke...totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE

Thank God for the sense to remember the '3' steps, STR . Read and Learn!

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.

Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

S *Ask the individual to SMILE.
T *Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)
(i.e. It is sunny out today.)
R *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call emergency number immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

New Sign of a Stroke -------- Stick out Your Tongue

NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out his tongue.. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other, that is also an indication of a stroke.

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this message to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

I have done my part. Will you?

HINDU WEDDING RITUALS

13 Steps of a Vedic Marriage Ceremony of a Hindus
By Subhamoy Das

While various regional steps are followed by different sects of Hindus across India, the following 13 steps form the core of a Vedic wedding ceremony:

• Vara Satkaarah - Reception of the bridegroom and his kinsmen at the entrance gate of the wedding hall where the officiating priest chants a few mantras and the bride's mother blesses the groom with rice and trefoil and applies tilak of vermilion and turmeric powder.

• Madhuparka Ceremony - Reception of the bridegroom at the altar and bestowing of presents by the bride's father.

• Kanya Dan - The bride's father gives away his daughter to the groom amidst the chanting of sacred mantras.

• Vivah-Homa - The sacred fire ceremony ascertaining that all auspicious undertakings are begun in an atmosphere of purity and spirituality.

• Pani-Grahan - The groom takes the right hand of the bride in his left hand and accepts her as his lawfully wedded wife.

• Pratigna-Karan - The couple walk round the fire, the bride leading, and take solemn vows of loyalty, steadfast love and life-long fidelity to each other.

• Shila Arohan - The mother of the bride assists her to step onto a stone slab and counsels her to prepare herself for a new life.

• Laja-Homah - Puffed rice offered as oblations into the sacred fire by the bride while keeping the palms of her hands over those of the groom.

• Parikrama or Pradakshina or Mangal Fera - The couple circles the sacred fire seven times. This aspect of the ceremony legalizes the marriage according to the Hindu Marriage Act as well custom.

• Saptapadi - Marriage knot symbolized by tying one end of the groom's scarf with the bride's dress. Then they take seven steps representing nourishment, strength, prosperity, happiness, progeny, long life and harmony and understanding, respectively.

• Abhishek - Sprinkling of water, meditating on the sun and the pole star.

• Anna Praashan - The couple make food offerings into the fire then feed a morsel of food to each other expressing mutual love and affection.

• Aashirvadah - Benediction by the elders.

MESSAGE OF THE DAY

Human being is the repository of Divine energy. You are not poor in any sense. You are not weak or forlorn. You have all the capacity to experience divine bliss. Despite these, sometimes one exhibits weakness. You should not take it amiss; modern life is giving rise to agitation, instead of elevation. Do not give rise to evil qualities like anger, greed, desire or jealousy. Never hurt others. Sacred feelings are within you. Do not forget them. Do not commit sin by hurting others. Attain merit by serving others. Cultivate the virtues of humility, obedience, love and peace.

MEDICAL PROFESSION STAND HIGH ON MOST INDIANS WISH LIST

Most Malaysian Indians parents would want their children to become doctors and most students too seem to have the same desire. In the fifties and early sixties I can still remember the number of Indian Doctors will be perhaps less than 300. As for the Telugu Community perhaps the only Telugu doctor during that time was Dr.K.M.Reddy . Today the scenario is completely different. The Indian docotrs in this country would have exceeded 10,000. There must be atleast 500 doctors of Telugu origin. It is a tremendous achievement. It must also be said that most families have sacrificed almost all their savings to see their children graduate as doctors. Obviosly it is worth the sacrifice provided the children understand and reciprocate.

Most of the Indians attend medical Universities in India and of recent large numbers have gone to Indonesia, Ukraine and Russia. Where Next? Dr. Anusha, Dr.Nandhini and Dr. Prashanth have graduated from Universities in Australia, Indonesia and Russia. Dr.Mahendra, Dr. Maheshwara Rao, Dr.Vengkatesh and Dr.Barath have graduated from India and Dr.Rao has gradated from Ukraine. Thanesh has gone India, Sangeetha has gone to Checkoslovakia, Gayatri has gone to Rumania, Venkatesh to Chennai, Shuren to Ireland, Sai Ganesh to Ukraine and soon Hamsa is going to China. These are all my family members. Let us wish all these aspiring doctors our best wishes. This is just a sample of a telugu family. I have known one telugu family with more than 12 doctors. There are many stories like this. To say that there are more than 500 Telugu doctors in Malaysia is perhaps an under-statement.

Above are some photographs taken during Hamsas farewell.
